Liberty Benton Marching Band
Liberty Benton High School Tom Holben, Director 66 Members The Band performs halftime on Friday nights for the Liberty Benton Eagles Football team and it’s fans. The band also performs at local parades as well as OMEA Marching Band Contests and Festivals where they have received numerous awards and trophies. Black Knight Marching Band
Van Buren High School Mike Procyk, Director 52 Members In addition to football games, parades and band festivals, the Black Knight band performs at five OMEA marching contests each season. The Black Knights have appeared at OMEA State Finals since 2014 earning consistent Superior ratings. Instrumental performance opportunities at Van Buren include concert and marching bands, solo and ensemble, musical pit and the VB Big Band. Many band students are also active in Van Buren's excellent choral program. Primarily a high school ensemble, the front ensemble (pit) consists entirely of middle school students who participate on a voluntary basis. |
